Personal Mission

My mission is to create inclusive environments where everyone can thrive. I am passionate about mentoring the next generation of leaders, promoting financial literacy, fostering health and wellness in both personal and professional contexts, and democratizing resources for all.

Miriam Duen is a seasoned program manager and consultant with extensive experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), community engagement, and professional development. A graduate of North Carolina Central University (NCCU) with honors, Miriam excelled as a Division 1 softball student-athlete while also working three jobs to fund her Master's degree in Equitable Leadership and Organizational Development. Her academic achievements reflect her dedication and resilience, graduating Magna Cum Laude.

Professionally, Miriam has held pivotal roles in prominent organizations, including Nike, where she served as a Temporary Global DEI Program Manager. In this capacity, she built and implemented global mentorship and internship programs for the Jordan Brand-WINGS Foundation, managing large-scale events and achieving significant increases in ERG membership and community brand awareness.

Her technical acumen is demonstrated through her proficiency in using advanced software platforms such as Oracle Cloud and Oracle HCM. Miriam's ability to integrate technology into her DEI initiatives has been instrumental in driving innovation and achieving measurable outcomes.

Miriam's entrepreneurial spirit is evident in her co-hosting role on the Hustle Take Over Podcast and her authorship of "Avocado Thoughts." These ventures highlight her ability to connect with diverse audiences and share insights on leadership, wellness, and personal growth.

Her contributions to the NFL, NCAA, and NCCU Athletics Department further underscore her commitment to community engagement and professional development. Miriam's ability to secure high-profile speakers like Eric Thomas and lead programs that encourage athletes to give back to their communities exemplifies her leadership and organizational skills.
